Late one night

Scott and I were up late one night and the cats were getting very sleepy. I managed to snap them as there were cat-napping (pun not intended) while waiting for us to come to bed. As you can see, Scott's computer bag is a bit of a favourite.

All About Kim

Kim's just been doing a lot of cute things today. She generally is a bit of a flirt and attention seeker anyway. First up, I woke up this morning to find Smudge and Peps on the bed with me (my leg was the only thing keeping Smudge from roling right off the bed when hse stretched and rolled) and Kimi in the laundry basket. I don't know if I should be more amused or disgusted, given that the clothes are no where near clean.

















Later then I was getting ready to go out, Kim decided to keep me company in he bathroom. She very often gets into the sink anyway, and it doesn't really matter to her if you switch the tap on. In fact, she was pretty damn wet by the time she finally decided to vacate her spot.






















Finally, when I got home from my shopping expedition, I took the stuff out of the bag. And as per usual, in she goes. She is always careful to turn around and face the opening of the bag though. But Scott still worries she'll get trapped. I highly doubt she will.

Lazy Spring Day

The cats love sitting by the sliding door where they can 'smell the outside' as I call it. Back when there were only 2, Peps would be the one in her basket and Smudge generally prefers the floor. However, I bought a pair of brown boots over the winter and one day, I left the box out when I had then on and from then onwards, the cats have decided that the box is for their relaxing pleasure. Mainly Smudge's, and he pretty much nearly fills up the entire thing. While Kim and Peps would normally share the basket and leave Smudge to his box, I caught them lying differently the other day.

When you're the best of friends...

Kimi and Smudge seem particularly attached to each other. Kim much prefers going to sleep cuddled up beside him. Here's some photos I took a few days ago. I was on the computer and turned to see Kimi lying on a throw on the couch. A few minutes later, I looked again and Smudge had squeezed in beside her. They looked so cute, I just couldn't resist.

I went into the bedroom to see what Mei was doing and found her and all 3 cats fast asleep.
